Payment Information

Your order is not confirmed, and your date is not secured, until the booking fee has been received.

Payment of your deposit constitutes agreement to these Terms & Conditions.

Booking Your Order

Weddings
To secure your wedding date, a non-refundable booking fee of €150.00 is required. This fee includes:

• Flavour Wedding Cake Taster Box

• Posting and packaging of the taster box

• Design consultations

 

Celebrations
For celebration cakes, a non-refundable €50.00 booking deposit is required, deductible from your final balance.

A personalised payment link will be provided for payment via debit, credit, or Revolut. Payments via our website incur a 2.2% processing fee.

Final Payments

• Weddings: The remaining balance is due no later than 8 weeks before the delivery date. Monthly payment plans are available but must be completed by this deadline, unless otherwise agreed.

• Celebrations & other cakes: The balance is due no later than 2 weeks before delivery. Orders placed within 2 weeks of the event require full payment upfront.

 

All quotations are valid for 7 days from the date of issue. Prices may be revised after this period.

Cancellations

• Booking deposits are non-refundable.

• Weddings: If cancelled with less than 12 weeks’ notice, the full payment, including deposit, is non-refundable.

• Celebrations & other cakes: If cancelled with less than 1 week’s notice, the full payment, including deposit, is non-refundable.

• All cancellations must be made by email.

Delivery/Set Up

We are pleased to offer delivery and set-up services, included in your initial quote.

Upon delivery, set-up, or collection, responsibility for your cake transfers to you. We cannot be held liable for any loss, damage, or deterioration thereafter.

If the cake is moved, altered, or handed to another person at your request, this is undertaken entirely at your own risk.

Should you request that we leave your cake in a specific location or with a third party, it is your responsibility to ensure its safe receipt. We cannot accept liability once the cake has been handed over.

Postponements

Requests to postpone your wedding or event must be made by email.

• A €20 administration fee applies.

• Deposits and invoice items will be transferred to the new date, subject to availability.

• If we are unavailable on the new date, our cancellation policy applies.

• Postponements are available up to 10 weeks before the scheduled event. After this, dates are non-transferable, and the original balance remains payable.

 

Hire Items

All hire items remain the property of Apple Dee Floral Cakes and must not be altered or defaced.

• Items must be returned within 3 days of hire or collection can be arranged for an additional fee. 

• Any loss, damage, or breakage will be invoiced for replacement, including postage.

• Responsibility for hire items remains with you until they are returned.

 

Final Design 

• Your cake will be created exactly as agreed during consultations and confirmed in your final email or phone consultation, sent 8 weeks before delivery.

• By paying your final invoice, you confirm that all details are correct and that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.

 

Allergies & Dietary Information

In line with EU regulations, our cakes may contain or come into contact with the 14 main allergens:

Gluten, Crustaceans, Eggs, Fish, Peanuts, Soybeans, Milk, Nuts, Celery, Mustard, Sesame Seeds, Sulphur Dioxide & Sulphites, Lupin, and Molluscs.

​

• We offer gluten-free cakes, but all products are prepared in a kitchen where allergens are present. Complete allergen-free guarantee is not possible.

• Our cakes are not suitable for individuals with severe allergies.

• Some decorations (e.g., fresh flowers, wires, ribbons, pins, jewels, boards) are not edible.

• A full ingredient list is available by email, at least 6 weeks’ notice. Requests must come directly from you, not your venue.

• Apple Dee Floral Cakes cannot be held responsible for delays caused by adverse weather, unforeseen circumstances, government restrictions, or events beyond our control.
